Lead Glass
Our lead glass is of the highest quality and can be used for viewing
windows in a variety of situations where radiation is being used. Lead
glass is used for shielding against x-rays emitted from equipment in the
range of 100 to 300 KV. Our lead glass can be cut to a size suited to
your application, up to a maximum size of 48" x 96". Our lead
equivalencies range from 2mm to 3mm. Lead-lined frames, for the creation
of a lead-glass window, are also available. Lead glass is ideal for use
in viewing windows in labs and medical centers, laboratories, and for
airport security. We also provide leaded acrylic, a shatterproof
alternative to lead glass. Lead acrylic, like lead glass, is ideal when
visibility is required. If you require a transparent, protective shield
of superior quality, look no further than our lead acrylic and lead
glass. Contact us for more information on our range of lead acrylic, lead glass, leaded windows and lead frames.
Please note: The lead equivalency in mm - Pb, defines the
protective efficiency of the glass compared to a lead wall. For example,
a glass with 2.0 mm Pb offers the same protective effect as a 2 mm
thick lead wall.
Please note: Our minimum order limit for all products is $500 prior to shipping costs and applicable taxes.
